I grew up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest but Flower Mound, Texas has now been home for over seven years.
Before starting Neatness By Design but after having two wonderful boys, I was primarily a stay-at-home mom. Over the years, as my boys grew up, my natural instinct for order turned into a passionate interest in the practice of organization. In addition to keeping the household in order, I took on a number of related part-time assignments that provided the opportunity to hone my skills. Among these was a Pottery Barn sales associate position where I arranged displays, gift wrapped, and taught their class on organizing your home office. As a consultant for Shelf Conversions DFW, I helped clients through the process of selecting and configuring shelving systems that most suited their needs and available space.
With the ecouragement of friends and family, I joined the National Organization for Professional Organizers (NAPO) and founded Neatness By Design in February of 2006. Since then, I have had a continuous stream clients and have completed numerous professional organizing engagements.
